KÓPASKER - Yfirgefið Fjárhús - A nap in the grass

KÓPASKER is a village of less than 150 inhabitants, located in the north of Iceland. In the middle of summer, under a cloudless sky but with a typical coolness of the country, it is pleasant to walk without worrying about the path you are taking. And then, after a while, you come across an old ruined sheepfold. And it is in the grass, surrounded by bumblebees, with the Arctic terns nearby and the sound of the sea in the background that it is time for a nap.

What calm and serenity.

Note : This soundscape was made from loops of a shorter recording. A minimum of post-production processing was applied in order to retranscribe the natural atmosphere of the place.
