SUÐURNES - SANDVÍK

From an aerial view, SANDVÍK beach has that special Icelandic touch. Although it is not made of black sand, but rather of a sand common to what we are used to seeing, its immediate proximity to a body of water makes it special.

This mini-lake wanted to join the ocean, leaving behind the traces of its attempt to escape the Icelandic land, in the form of magnificent veins where sand and clods of earth covered with grass mingle. The water glows in the sunlight in colours that can range from yellow to green depending on the season.

And in this surrealist picture, a fauna composed of birds is happily frolicking in a carefree manner, living their best life.
